Nurturing a mood or feeling, each song begets a sonorous story of someone close to him, expressed through the language of piano playing.Jerve makes use of his hands as a human step sequencer, often programming two or more motifs of varying lengths in a polymetric fashion. These melodic patterns and arpeggios evolve at varying rates but grow around clear progressions with standard 8-bar forms.
